Sushma is a single mother who has the responsibility of four children on herself. She lives in Chautara Sangachowk-1, Sindhupalchok district. Without the support of her parents, Sushma grew up facing many hurdles. When she got married, she thought she had a chance of a better life but it wasn’t the case.

Barpipal CBRC
Barpipal CBRC in Fulpingdanda completed the reconstruction of 169 houses out of 170 houses. The only house left for reconstruction was of Late Mr. Bharat Subedi and the family members remaining were just the children Hari Bahadur Subedi (Age:11) and his sister(Age:15).

School of Shelter and Environment (SSE) is a not for profit organization registered with Government of Nepal in 1997. It is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC). It is supported by a group of professionals with exceptional experience in the sector related to Shelter, Environment, Health, Community Development to address particularly poor & marginalized community and Disaster Risk Management. SSE is established with the mission through Action-Oriented Research and Development Activities. SSE envisages to Disseminate, Promote and Transfer its research outputs and experiences by organizing awareness programs, training activities, model demonstration projects to suit community-level needs.
